Bach wanted to get the music director’s post in Brandenburg. 1721 he made a gorgeous present to Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt - a dedicated score of the 6 “Brandenburg” Concertos. He didn’t get it. But the world got much richer!

Music and politics were never really separated.

In this Story a little boy with a violin case gets into the beautiful world of Bach’s composition- turbulent, brilliant, inventive.
Margrave and his spouse wake up, make themselves ready for a party in Berlin. On a beautiful coach they drive through the Brandenburg Gate and get on the red carpet accompanied by the political leader of our time.
Music for the event is provided by an orchestra, high in the skies. The instruments play by themselves, led by one man, looking alike the boy in the beginning...
