Background:
Another battle, sadly one hunter had loading issues and didn't get into battleground, so ended up 39 vs 40. But even outnumbered I am sure hunters have a chance!
Rules are the usual. Best out of 5, no ressing during active round and stay in the field of strife.
Thought of adding a rule to prevent endless stalling for the rogues, but Hunters flare is good enough to prevent that.
SPOILERS FOR THE BATTLE BELOW:
Round 1:
This round was one sided thanks to Flares, preventing the rogues from having a great opener. Early round it looked promising for rogues but having to keep swapping target through aspect of the turtle against ranged isn't ideal... We lost 13 hunters during this round.
Round 2:
This time hunters were on the move, it actually made it even harder for rogues since swapping targets takes more effort. Rogues tried to go from two sides to flank, but without a great opener (thanks to flares) and unable to vanish, they were easily picked off. We lost 11 hunters during this round.
Round 3:
The rogue strat now was to cheat, and ambush before countdown finished, catching the hunters offguard without flares. Even now, Rogues weren't powerful enough to deal with the Hunters, since we simply used Aspect of the Turtle when in danger and were able to overcome the onslaught. We lost 16 hunters during this round.
Bonus siege:
We tried a funny gamemode were all the hunters would defend a bunker, without being allowed to ressurect at the graveyard. While rogues on the other hand had access to ressurections. The plan was to see how long the hunters would outlast the onslaught before rogues overwhelmed us... But the rogues never managed to win, even with resses. They kept attacking in small waves, and then left after some failed attempts... Was still a great battle.
Hope you all enjoyed the video, and stay tuned for next! I do have plans to make a tournament out of all these 40v40, but will update you with bracket information later on.
