South Africans have taken to social media to pay tribute to the veteran actress Connie Chiume.

The 72 year old passed away on Tuesday after being admitted to a hospital in Johannesburg for a medical procedure.

The multi-award winning Chiume is known for her role in productions including the international film Black Panther as well as local programmes such as Zone 14 and Gomora.

Thabang Moleya, Multi-award winning producer and director joins us this morning as we pay tribute to the fallen veteran.
