Nashville mayor issues support for group bid to bring women's soccer to Music City

Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell is supporting a bid to bring professional women's soccer to Music City.

Mayor O'Connell sent a letter on September 18 to the National Women's Soccer League headquarters in New York to express his "enthusiastic support" for a National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) franchise in Nashville.
