Moving through the build process for my Timesaver plus Inglenook Wye shunting puzzle layout I had to make four #4 turnouts. The first few turnouts I made with the FastTracks jigs I used bluetack type of sticky stuff to hold the rails down. It is very hard to remove easily. SO I designed and 3D printed a set of clamps that hold the work down and are easily changed. I had to add a support around the jig with a edge for the clamps to grab onto. I'm building into the pieces a one sleeper tie offset to allow me to solder the sections together with the rail joints on two different sleeper ties. I had to design a small section of straight and curved combined to bring the diverging rail back to parallel with the mainline for the #4 turnout. Normally flextrack is used for this, but I'm going to handlay all of the tracks so I need to design all of these connections. Still need to design the #6 return to parallel section.
