Vor etwa 10 Jahren als Live-Looping-Projekt gestartet, hat sich unser Setup im Laufe der Jahre zu einer komplexen Kombination aus Soft- und Hardware-Komponenten weiterentwickelt. Lineout Kistenfreestyle - bestehend aus Baker und Taper - verwendet Samples, Synthesizer und Effekte, um einen Sound zu erzeugen, der von meditativem Minimal bis hin zu aggressivem Acid, Downtempo, Ambient, Hip-Hop und Tech-House reicht.

Doch was letztlich in einer Session entsteht, ist völlig unvorhersehbar und vollständig improvisiert. Der Beginn jeder Session ist ein leeres Projekt, das sich allmählich mit Beats und Bässen, Flächen und Samples, Klängen und Kompositionen füllt.

What began as a live-looping project around 10 years ago has evolved over the years into a complex setup of software and hardware components. Lineout Kistenfreestyle - Baker and Taper - use samples, synths, and effects to create a sound that can range from meditative minimal to aggressive acid, downtempo, ambient, hip-hop, and tech-house.

What ultimately emerges in a session is unpredictable and completely "freestyle from the top of the head." Each session starts with an empty project, which gradually fills with beats and basses, pads and files, sounds and compositions.
