Here's video of the FS-48 Suprass converted to diesel in an airplane. Although I ran the engine the day before, the settings were very different today. It took a lot of fiddling and the engine cooled during off power flight. The fuel I made had less cetane booster (1%) than I had flown with before (2-3%). This fuel would like more compression, but it was maxed out. More ignitor in the next batch. I flew for about 30 minutes total and burned 125g of 15% oil, 84% kerosene, 1%DII fuel. I'll try to get some more video when it's fully adjusted. The sound is hard to catch on video, but it's not as loud as glow.
