Carsten Strotmann gives an update on the current status of developments with regard to encrypted DNS. First he reviews the alphabet soup of DNS transport options - DoH, DoT, Do53, DoQ - and explains what each of these does. Then he reviews the current state of DoH implementations across a range of client and server applications. Finally he explains in detail the new Apple Computer support for oblivious DNS and adaptive DNS discovery.
