I've been asked a lot the last few days why I chose GVW over EVW for my next event, so I thought I'd answer.

Firstly, I am not for or against either organisation. I hope they can co-exist and together continue to grow the sport and continue to give the best athletes in the world matches.

Essentially, my decision was made for two reasons. 1. GVW offered my fiancée @thearmwrestlergirl her international professional debut. I believe so much in Chetna and want to see her take the stage she deserves. She has dominated India, and is undefeated for 11 years here in all weight classes. She's ready.

2. I was offered an elite level match against @eldar_bubenko The highest calibre opponent I've ever pulled within a weight category. I was also offered to commentate on the rest of the event.

EvW did offer me the opportunity to commentate EVW20 in Switzerland, but their requirement was that I personally didn't compete at GVW. EvW didn't offer me a match at EVW20.

Ultimately, my dreams are more as an athlete than a commentator, and I just can't turn down an opportunity to compete on a big stage with an elite opponent. That combined with the amazing fact Chetna now gets her moment to shine, it was a no brainer.

I wish both organisations the very best and am always personally available for either. There is room in this big world for all of us to have success.
