I’ve always wanted to create a political thriller and this competion gave me the chance to do just that. The Catiline Conspiracy is a well-known story from the ancient world and I felt it had the strongest storyline for a short film. My group and I decided it would be an interesting idea to explore the Catiline Conspiracy set in modern day. I spoke with various people from my classical civilisation class who shared an interest in the story and a talent for drama. We explored all the key aspects of the Catiline Conspiracy but due to the time restraints set by the competition we did not go into as much detail as we would have liked.
