Over 100 people were involved in a counter-terrorism exercise this morning -- the first since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is part of efforts to prepare the community to deal with such attacks. Exercise Heartbeat was conducted at and in conjunction with Millenia Singapore. It consisted of several scenarios, including a suicide bomber. There was also a simulation of a hostage crisis, as well as a hostile vehicle attack.
