The next Space Race is on and ARKX, ARK Invest's latest Space Exploration ETF, just launched! Let's do a quick survey of the space industry, what companies made it in as initial holdings in the new fund, and what companies might get added as new positions in the future.

We'll talk about orbital aerospace companies (think rockets, satellites and launch and satellite servicing infrastructure), suborbital aerospace companies (drones, air taxis, electric aviation), enabling technology companies (AI, 3D Printing, robotics, materials, energy), and beneficiary technology companies (agriculture, medical, GPS, etc).

We are rapidly becoming a spacefaring civilization, and while there are some significant challenges in front of us, I don't think anyone fully realizes just how quickly it's all going to happen!
