The Skylanders franchise broke new ground when it introduced the world to the Toys To Life genre that became very popular in the video game industry.

The Skylanders video game was so popular it spawned knockoff games like Disney Infinity and Lego Dimensions but Skylanders was always the most creative and best of the bunch. The Skylanders franchise included classic characters like Spyro, Trigger Happy, Stealth Elf, and later Crash Bandicoot. Skylanders included a fun story featuring Flynn and an awesome villain named Kaos. Each Skylanders game developed these characters and the world expanded with every release.
