Cuts through a mix like a knife! The Trondheim Audio devices SkarBassOne

Welcome back to the wetter bass!

My quick evaluation of the SkarBassOne:

THE GOOD
. engineered to make your bass sound fantastic in a mix
. probably one of the best all-in-one solution for modern bass drive sound
. awesome compressor
. mids combines a HPF and a LPF (AND IT WORKS!)
. simple controls yet powerful results

THE BAD
. always ON preamp (footswitch selects either preamp or preamp+dist)
. a LOT of character, not the most versatile but it has ITS SOUND
. saturation can sound sharp and fizzy, more like a "cold" distortion rather than a "warm" overdrive
. excellent build quality but not a sturdy pedal
