Snake InThe Lake (Lalbagh Lake, Bangalore)

Hoping for some footage of the Snake Bird (Anhinga melanogaster, also known as Oriental Darter, Snakeneck or Anhinga) i was not disappointed at Lalbagh Lake in late June, and in the process some sneaky snakes demanded to be filmed too: Checkered Keelbacks (Xenochrophis piscator), a species of harmless water snakes.
