We switched hotels (not because we didn’t love the Mad Hatter hotel in Southwark. We loved everything about it!) because we wanted to explore another area of London. (I now know that every area of London is easily accessible through public transportation so it doesn’t really matter the location that one stays in.)

We loved Brick Lane! And our hotel, Hampton by Hilton London City, was perfect to be right next to Brick Lane. It was right next to the Aldgate East underground as well plus it was surrounded by hundreds of fabulous restaurants and food stalls.

We explored Bermondsey and a speakeasy, too!
