Battlefield 1 Medic Guide | Basics, Weapon Choice Tips, and Gadgets | Novice BF1 Medic Tips

Описание к видео Battlefield 1 Medic Guide | Basics, Weapon Choice Tips, and Gadgets | Novice BF1 Medic Tips

Welcome to part 1 of my Battlefield 1 medic guide! This series serves as a basics guide for the prospective BF1 medic. I describe the class, give some do's and do not's, and give some tips on equipment choice (weapons, medic gadgets, and grenades). I also give my opinion on the best weapon(s) in the class: the Mondragon and the Selbstlader M1916.

This first video kind of acts as a medic tutorial, although I make the assumption that those watching already know the fundamentals of how to play BF1, like the controls and such, so I gloss over a lot of the really basic stuff. I also did my best to keep the video from being redundant with other videos. I'm here to give some unique commentary that you won't find anywhere else, not simply repeat what others have said.

I tried to keep the medic loadout section very general (except for the gadget section) because I didn't want to get too bogged down in the numbers. That said, each of the medic guns has very complex stats, and you can do your own research to find the best weapon for the medic which fits your playstyle. You can visit the website I mentioned in the video (look at the note below this paragraph) for super detailed stats about each of the medic weapons.

NOTE* I made a mistake in this video when talking about the stats website. The correct link is http://symthic.com/bf1-stats not "bf4-stats"!

This medic guide video features relevant Battlefield 1 gameplay in the background to keep things interesting. I tried to choose gameplay clips that matched what I was saying at the time, although not all of them are relevant. In future videos I made an attempt to use more visual aids, especially in the Expert guide.

The second section of this Battlefield 1 medic guide covers intermediate topics such as situational awareness, smoke grenades, and squad play. I gave a breakdown what situational awareness is and provide some ways to improve it, then cover some good uses of smoke greandes, and provide some commentary about squad play.

The third section of my medic guide covers advanced positioning, strategy & decision making, and advanced combat tips.

Being a medic is extremely fun and can be very rewarding if played properly. I'm almost always at or near the top of the scoreboard even when I have way fewer kills than everyone else (although this isn't always the case, specially because the medic guns are so powerful, especially the best weapon: the Selbstlader). Not only that, I feel like I have a huge impact on most of the multiplayer games that I play. Hopefully this guide will help others have more fun with this class, and improve the quality of medics in the game. There's some really awful medics out there, trust me! But don't worry. This medic guide will get you up to par.

I plan to do more guides for the other classes in Battlefield 1. It'll be nice to branch out and give tips for playing the other classes. There's a lot of depth to the gameplay in Battlefield 1. I learn something new every time I play!

Another plan I have for the future is to make general guides that apply to basically all classes in Battlefield 1, such as how to properly set up the aiming options for PC players for all weapons, not just the medic weapons, and discussions of specific maps.

I'm bound to have missed something by the way, so if you have any BF1 medic tips that you think belong in a future video of this class guide please let me know in a comment below!
