Alan Colville is an entrepreneur, product and service designer, husband, father and Guinness World Record holding cyclist. Originally from Ireland, Al is now based in Bristol in the United Kingdom where he lives with his wife and two daughters.

In this inspiring interview Al talks about the discovery of his passion for cycling, his rapid ascension to national-level mountain biking, and a terrible accident in 2011 that could have ended his life.

He talks about his journey back to health, and the path that lead to his successful 2020 Guinness World Record for the most elevation climbed on a bicycle in 48 hours.

Al's story demonstrates that it is not so much what you get in achieving a dream, but who you become along the way.
