Come, Come Ye Saints. Siebert Family

Описание к видео Come, Come Ye Saints. Siebert Family

Sung by Debra, Jim, Ashley, Grant, Emmie, and Dallin Siebert
So many comforting words to give courage for life’s endeavors.
“Though hard to you, this journey may appear… Grace shall be as your day…”
Meaningful for our day, and meaningful for the day it was written.
.
This was the “anthem” for the Pioneers walking 1300 mi/3 months, from Illinois to Utah to escape religious persecution. #July24 is the celebration of their arrival to an “uninhabitable wilderness” where the desert has since “blossomed as a rose” in the city of the Great Salt Lake.
It is especially meaningful for us as Emmie leaves on the 174th anniversary to serve a mission in the exact location. ❤️

We build on the sacrifices of those who lived before us, be it our faith, our ancestry, or our country.

#ComeComeYeSaints was written on the trail around 1847 by W. W. Clayton (lyrics) put to an English Folk Song.
