Installing and removing a scooter crank

First off thanks for everyone’s patience. We are absolutely slammed with work and short staffed: so these videos have taken the backseat. We squeeze them in when time allows!

Today we go the basics on removing a crankshaft from your common 2 stroke scooter, and installing a new one. There are several different methods, and tools, but this is one way of doing it. Remember to always have clean surfaces. Don’t reuse old c clips either. DO NOT use a press to join the cases together; this is far too common, and damages the crankshaft. You can either sweat the bearings in, Or press them in: I tried to make this video as short as possible but it was pretty difficult with all the details.
