Описание к видео See the beauty of Connemara, Galway part i (full episode Tracks and Trails)

Presented by Irish international runner David Gillick, this trail encompasses many highlights of the stunning Connemara National Park including The Diamond Hill; a beautiful mountain with spectacular panoramic views of one of Ireland’s most iconic regions of natural beauty.

David walks the Diamond Hill Loop with Ger O’Donnell, the Conservation Manager of Connemara National Park to learn more. The hill is called The Diamond because when the sun shines on it in a particular way it looks as if it is covered in sparkling diamonds.

En route they will be talking to local farmer Paddy Walsh, to hear more about the kind of farming they do in this part of Ireland and they may also have to help a couple of local residents who escaped from their field. The walk to the top of the Diamond Hill is 600 metres.
