Inspired by the human fascination of the universe, Limerick by Abirr n’ Nanki have woven their Spring Summer 22 collection around celestial movements and cyclical zodiac signs. Speaking of promise and opportunity beyond our current horizons, ‘Back to the stars’ is composed of captivating motifs, playful designs and symbolic sketches to reimagine the universe. Ancient influences of the zodiac are modernised with latest embroidery techniques and extraordinary artworks. Meticulous use of silver and laser cut techniques give it a modern twist. Drapes and flowy silhouettes bring alive a dreamy escape, while structured pant suits, kaftans, playsuits and yardage saris complete the collection with substance and sharp modernity. The colour story is influenced by the elements - air, water, earth, fire, and brings intensity to their summer journey.
The prints are bold, and crafted for the fierce, modern, women of today. In an interplay of fabrics, sheers, and solids, juxtaposed against mixed crepes and organzas, an alluring curation of silhouettes that complements all body types has been curated. Hand-crafted textures, laser cut metallic embellishments and acrylic tassels, celebrate power, strength, and mysticism of the world beyond ours.


As the real and virtual merge paving the way for a new reality, adapting to the changing times, the Fashion Design Council of India and Lakme Fashion Week present the first-ever joint phygital event from March 16 to 21, 2021.

As fashion looks for newer ways to metamorphosise both the palette and palate of customers, three flag bearers of this movement FDCI, Lakme and RISE Worldwide turn a new page in the sands of time with this partnership.
