PEDESTRIAN DEAD IN HIT-AND-RUN CRASH ON SUNNYMEAD BOULEVARD NEAR HEACOCK STREET [MORENO VALLEY, CA]

MORENO VALLEY, CA (February 13, 2022) – Saturday morning, a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Sunnymead Boulevard near Heacock Street.

According to Riverside Country Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Sunnymead Boulevard, east of Heacock Street.

Reports revealed that a westbound vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing the road. Then, the vehicle fled the scene.

Moreover, westbound Riverside Country sheriff’s deputies spotted the victim and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.

Meanwhile, officials asked anyone with information about the incident to call Deputy Andrew Galbreath of the sheriff’s Moreno Valley station at 951-486-6700.
