Miranda is an American actress. After graduating from UCSB, Miranda headed to LA where she worked two different jobs as a waitress, for two months, saving enough to drop the night job and audition for a play. It was this performance, as Lady Kathleen Kennett Scott in 'Terra Nova' by Ted Tally, at The Morgan Wixson Theatre in Santa Monica, that secured her the audition for Days of Our Lives (1965). And that was the start of her professional career.

In 1984, Wilson received a call from Betty Corday and Al Rabin to have her in audition for the role of Megan Hathaway on Days of Our Lives, and she accepted to originate. She made her daytime soap opera debut on the NBC daytime soap as Megan on June 20, 1984.

Miranda had other roles on television and movies, like guest-starring roles on television shows including T.J. Hooker, Trapper John, M.D., Wolf, and Histoires d'amour. And then she had roles in films including Cellar Dweller, Bloody Cakes, An American Exorcism and An American Attorney in London.
