The Mahavikasagari alliance in Maharashtra continues to face a seat sharing conundrum. Uddhav Thackeray, Lead Chief Sena UBT, is insistent on the Vidarbha seats, a prominent region, but the Congress is unwilling to concede. Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole, however, asserts that there are no disagreements within the alliance. Talks are ongoing for 96 Congress seats, with discussions to be held with Sharath Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray for the remaining 40.
