How to Calculate Lat Long - D'Lat

Latitude and Longitude are important terminologies used when preparing a chart or navigating a ship. However, many of us do not know how to calculate lat long and the difference between latitude and dlat and how to calculate D'lat, which also known as the difference in Latitude and involves Latitude and time.

In general, any latitude and time position is given with respect to the earth's equator. But, a value of D'lat or difference in latitude will not be w.r.t the equator. This video explains the basic of latitude and difference in latitude and explains about the basic navigation calculus
