Mass Effect Legendary Edition Insanity Guide - Horizon

Описание к видео Mass Effect Legendary Edition Insanity Guide - Horizon

Moving on to Mass Effect 2, the Sentinel starts to really shine as a support character. This is largely due to the Sentinel's newest power, Tech Armor. Tech Armor gives Shepard a massive boost to his shields, with generates a powerful AOE pulse that staggers nearby enemies whenever your shields are depleted. When Tech Armor reaches level 3, it gives an added benefit of resetting your squadmate's cooldown on their abilities. When Tech Armor reaches level 4, you can upgrade it into Assault Armor, which further increases the damage and range of the Pulse attack, as well as giving an extra shield when Assault Armor is detonated.

Early game, Jacob and Miranda make the best squad for a Support Assault Armor Build. Jacob can upgrade his Incendiary Ammo power to Squad Incendiary Ammo, increasing the weapon damage of the whole squad and allowing gunfire to cause unprotected organic enemies to panic. Miranda should focus on her Cerberus Officer power and upgrade it to Cerberus Leader, increasing the health and weapon damage of the whole squad. Miranda and Jacob's active powers also complement each other well. Miranda can use Warp and Overload to remove enemy protections, and Jacob can use Pull once the enemies are unprotected. Finally, Miranda can use Warp on enemies affected by Pull to create a powerful biotic expulsion for high AoE burst damage.

For armor, I recommend purchasing the Archon Visor from Saronis Applications in the Citadel. This helps reduce your cooldown times so you can reactivate Assault Armor more often. Once you've recruited Mordin you can start to select upgrades. I recommend prioritizing Damage Protection and Heavy Skin Weave to make Shepard even tankier.

In combat, position Shepard at the front of the squad and use him to draw gunfire. Ensure that Shepard is close enough so that when his Assault Armor detonates he staggers as many enemies as possible. Use Jacob and Miranda's powers as often as possible then, while their abilities are on cooldown, reactive Assault Armor to reset their cooldowns and allow them to use their abilities more frequently.

Below you'll find a detailed build order as well as a recommended quest order for the first part of the game. Prioritize upgrading to Assault Armor before taking a few points in Defender to help reduce your cooldown so you can reactivate Assault Armor frequently. You'll want to put one point into Overload and one point into Warp before you do the Overlord Missions, as Shepard will be solo during the final fight and will need a way to destroy shields and armor. Once you've upgraded Defender to Guardian, hold off on spending any more talents until after Horizon and you can start to do loyalty missions.
