Jethro Tull live at the Los Angeles Universal Amphitheatre November 22, 1984. This was a very sad show to attend - you just want to cry as you hear Ian struggling to sing Aqualung.

Ian rants and raves at fans in the front row smoking marijuana after Under Wraps: "I've got a real problem with my throat tonight." His voice deteriorated to a very hoarse whisper from Aqualung on. He subsequently cancelled the show for the next night, and several in Australia because of his voice.

Ian reflects on Under Wraps in Guitar World, September 1999: "I enjoyed the album because, as a vocalist, I really stretched myself to the limit doing that album, in terms of its range and the structure of the melodies. But, of course, that album became my undoing when it came time to perform it live. I seriously damaged my voice later in 1984 when we toured and I had to sing all of that material every night. My voice has never really quite recovered.”
