Despite its proximity to Russia, Kharkiv once proudly stood as one of Ukraine's cultural, sporting, and economic centres. Although Putin's missiles have reduced much of the city to rubble, its inhabitants continue to fight with the hope to some day return the city to its former glory. From a European Championship hosting stadium to its bustling underground railroad, this short film shows the vibrancy that Kharkiv gained a reputation for.
