'I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed' - For children (and some adults) their biggest fear is monsters under their bed. Instead of being afraid, Rihanna has befriended “the monster under her bed,” because she can relate to it.

'Get along with the voices inside of my head' - After Eminem became friends with the ‘monster that’s beneath his bed’ he's getting along with the voices in his head, he isn’t fighting against his ‘evil’ side…Who is the ‘monster’? Is it the Devil or Shady? Probably both..It’s also likely that the public is meant by these voices and the monster is fame. Both Eminem and Rihanna are friends with monster (likely also implying that fame is not a real thing, or at least they don’t want it to be real), but the voices (of the people) make them do things they don’t want (similar to how a crazy person listens to voices in his/her head). They listen to these “voices” (of the people) because of the “monster” (the fame).

Both Em and Rihanna have been called “crazy” and worse because of decisions they’ve made in public. They could both be classified as “troubled” people but that doesn’t mean they’re “crazy.”
