Again, I would like to thank everyone for being patient while I take a break. Even though I’m still producing a little bit of content here and there, for the most part, I have taken a step back. Due to things going on in my personal life and the fact that I feel the need to be there for the people I love, the schedule has been a little sporadic. I assure you all I am coming back and will be posting regularly again starting in May. The support and love from all of you has been overwhelming! I never really knew the impact I had on some of you and how much you needed the content. I love you all.

Now on to today’s story. This particular story is a blast from the past. For those of you that may not be aware I was born in the year of 1982. I know that sounds like it was forever ago but trust me it was way more recent than it feels. This is a childhood favorite that I found in our library at school and checked out multiple times. When I heard that a local library was purging some of their books from the shelves and this title was amongst them, it made me sad, but it also made me happy because I could finally own a copy as an adult. It just makes me sad knowing that there are children that will never hear this story or read it themselves.

This cute little story is called Oma and Bobo. A wonderful lady named Amy Schwartz was the writer and illustrator. The illustrations are absolutely adorable and I wish I could share them with you, but in lieu of the illustrations at least I can read you the story. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and beginning of their next week. No matter how bleak things look right now, I want you to know that there are people out there that would fight fiercely for you to feel safe and loved. There are total strangers out there that would lay down everything to keep you safe. I love you guys so much and I’ll see you very soon.
