Ras Al Khaimah in UAE attempted to break the record for the 'world's largest single firework launch' during its New Year's celebrations. Spectators were treated to a spectacular laser drone show and fireworks display that lit up the skies.

The light show reportedly featured more than 2,300 drones, and the fireworks spanned six km. The city holds 14 Guinness World Records from its previous New Year's Eve fireworks displays.
