It has been four days since Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi died. Today, he was laid to rest in his hometown Mashhad, after a three-day long funeral. Theories surrounding Raisi's chopper crash are circulating wide in Iran. While investigations into the matter are underway, some Iranians believe that the US should be held accountable for the crash. Iran's former foreign minister has said that Washington is a "culprit" in Raisi's death. Since the revolution, Iran has been under Western sanctions - which have blocked Tehran's access to modern aircraft.
