Peru! 🇵🇪 (Like You’ve Never Seen Before) | South America Vlog 1

We're in South America for a month! It feels so good to finally be in South America! We're in Peru to kick start this month long adventure and spending the day in Cusco spreading some unbelievably positive vibes. We're here for the GX Community Summit held by G Adventures and Planeterra, as part of that we're checking out a handful of amazing community projects that have had an overwhelmingly positive impact on locals. If you've followed us for a while you know we always talk about going to local spots, seeing local life and experiencing a destination through a locals eyes (where possible, obviously) - so this was the most rewarding day for us and we're blessed to share it with you.

Side note, Cusco is an epic place to travel! There are so many great things to do, obviously hiking is a major that we'll share soon, but the city itself is charming, the town centre is beautiful, the food is great and it's safe and fun to explore on foot.

In saying all that, Cusco is at altitude and altitude sickness is a real thing! We both had headaches non-stop, but unfortunately Stace wasn't well today at all - it was the nausea that really got the better of her and a few sneaky voms here and there didn't really help. Hiking is another story, you'll see next time things really take a turn for the worst unfortunately.

These South America travels were filmed in October 2023, an amazing time of year to visit. We spent a month exploring Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile and these travel vlogs are to share our experience of the first time touching the continent... safe to say we loved it!
