The old maritime tale and musical classic by the brilliant Canadian singer Stan Rogers performed by the band Queen Anne's Revenge.
We attempted a loose interpretation of the song's content through visual imagery.
Fogarty's Cove, located on the coast of Nova Scotia, has an interesting history, but we won't delve into it here. Nevertheless, it's our tribute to all fishermen and seafaring folks who, due to their hard labor, experience separation from their loved ones.
The musical performance, screenplay, direction, and cinematography for the music video were done by Queen Anne's Revenge.
Even though the song comes from Nova Scotia, it's important to remember that the band originates from beautiful West Pomerania and almost all the shots for the video were taken there.
