Instagram rolled out a new feature late 2016 which allowed a select group of 20 brands to tag products on Instagram to make those products shoppable.

It's a very exciting feature for many brands and definitely worth utilizing as soon as it is rolled out for all pages.

Note: it's going to be particularly powerful for Instagram influencers making a post much more likely to drive sales.

FULL GUIDE:
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to turn your Instagram into a shoppable feed:
1. Ensure you have the latest version of the Instagram app.
2. Make sure your account is a business account on Facebook and connected to a Facebook Catalog. (If you need a hand with this step, we are happy to help).
3. If you already have both of these steps covered, when you head to your profile page you should see a blue ‘Get Started’ bar come up at the top of your profile.
4. If you don’t see this, go to your settings and under Business Settings, there is a tab called shopping to set it up.
Select your product catalog to connect to your business profile
TAG YOUR PRODUCTS
Select a photo and add a caption, effects and filters.
1. Tap the products in the photo that you want to tag.
2. Enter the names of the products you want to tag, then select them as they appear in the search box.
3. Tap Done.
4. Tap Share.
You can tag products in new posts as well as existing and every post can tag up to 5 prod- ucts.
