How to Cowash Natural Hair - In this video I will be showing you my updated Cowash Routine for natural hair. I am using the As I Am Coconut Cowash Cleansing Conditioner. I start out by massaging my scalp and separating any sections of my hair that is clumped together. I then go ahead and rinse my hair for about 5 minutes under warm water to get rid of as much product that I can before I start cowashing. Once I have rinsed y hair, I split my hair into four sections and begin adding the As I Am Coconut Cowash to the roots and start massaging it in to my scalp. I then start smoothing it down the length of my hair to distribute the product all over that section completely. Once I do that, I begin to finger detangle that section. I add water when I feel like the section is not wet enough and I do not have enough slip. I continue to finger detangle and rake my fingers through that section until I feel that there are no more tangles. I then twist that section and move on to the next section until I have fully detangled and cleansed my hair with the as I am coconut cowash. I then rinse my hair with cool water and move on to either deep conditioning or styling my hair.
