Relative Atomic Mass | How to Find Relative Atomic Mass of an Element?

Описание к видео Relative Atomic Mass | How to Find Relative Atomic Mass of an Element?

In this animated lecture, I will tea you the concept of relative atomic mass, atomic mass unit and how to find the mass of an atom. Also, you will learn that how can we compare the masses of different atoms to carbon-12 atom with many examples.

Q: What is relative atomic mass?
Ans: Relative atomic mass is defined as the mass mass of an atom of an element relative to the mass of 1/12 the mass of carbon-12.
For example, the relative atomic mass of oxygen is 16 units when measured against standard unit of carbon 12. The relative atomic mass of sodium is 23. The relative atomic mass of hydrogen is 1. The relative atomic mass of nitrogen is 14.
