On First June 1943 Flight 777 took off from Lisbon airport on its way to Bristol Whitchurch airport. It never made it.

It was shot down by 8 enemy aircraft killing all 17 on board.

This is a Video blog I shot from the second day of operating.

I felt bad as people were building up and taking down the station all around me. All I could do it give instructions like some obsolete King.

The Weather was the killer for me. Me, MS and heat do not mix. Although I was good in the morning, by around 2:30pm the legs were not in the best of shape. Even moving to go to the loo was a struggle. But I owe it to those who died and my fellow club members from both North and South Bristol to keep going.

The Special event station took over two years of planning which has been fun!

Being interviewed by the BBC was interesting, thankfully it did not get shown. Instead as few interesting shots of my F*T rear end made it on air. And I at least saved Bristol the shot I serve to you via this channel.
