Kothapalli Geetha is an Indian Politician and a member of parliament from Araku Lok Sabha constituency, Andhra Pradesh. She won the Indian general election, 2014 from Araku Constituency. She is a first time politician and first generation politician with no political backing. Since Geetha's taking office as MP from Araku, she has focused her efforts in improving the conditions of tribal areas that she represents. She has been also working on inviting foreign direct investments into the area.
