Video description:
Alex overviews the sportsbook business model, such as how bookmakers make money. Sportsbooks make money through the "juice" (also called "vig" or "house edge"). Backing out "fair" odds from these markets is the key to successful sports betting. You want to beat the "fair" implied odds from sharp sportsbooks, such as Pinnacle and BookMaker.

Beating the "fair" implied odds from sharp sportsbooks will mean that all of your sports bets have a higher probability of having positive CLV, allowing you to consistently beat the sports betting market and make money in the long run.
