Exploring Can Tho, An Amazing City on the Mekong Delta in Vietnam

Join me as I delve into the vibrant city of Can Tho, the bustling capital of the Mekong Delta, for an exhilarating full-day adventure. From scenic walks to rich history, cultural discoveries, and encounters with nature, Can Tho offers an array of experiences that cater to every backpacker's desires.

Embarking on a city tour, I found myself captivated by the sights and sounds of this dynamic city. Beginning with a leisurely stroll across the pedestrian bridge and along the riverside, I immersed myself in the bustling energy of Can Tho.

Next, I ventured to the city's man-made beach, a popular spot for socializing despite its cleanliness challenges. Continuing my exploration, I visited an Ancient House, a fascinating relic from Colonial times adorned with furniture from France and China dating back to the 15th century.

My journey culminated with a visit to the prison museum, offering poignant insights into the struggles of prisoners during the French colonial era and the Vietnam War.

Overall, my time in Can Tho left an indelible mark on me, making it my favorite destination in Vietnam thus far.
