History of the Nissan 350Z/370Z in Need for Speed

It's time for another car history video in Need for Speed and this time it will be about the Nissan 350Z/370Z, since you guys voted for that over the Subaru Impreza in my poll a few weeks ago. Unlike the previous cars this one not only appears in many NFS games but it even plays a role in several of the game's stories and career modes.

Do you remember in which of the 21 NFS games the Nissan 350Z or 370Z was featured? Test your knowledge about the Need for Speed series and find out by watching this video. Note that the timeline will only list the games that include the car, so watch the video first if you don't want to be spoiled.

In each game that includes the car I have recorded one short race or event. As usual I have selected the clips very carefully and deliberately and for some of them I have recorded for multiple hours to get the runs as clean and interesting as possible. I tried to show a nice variety of gameplay, featuring races, drift events, police chases and free roam driving. I have also included a car showcase with information about the car at the end once again.

In NFS Underground you race against Melissa's 350Z in the final career race after beating Eddie and a slow version of her car (and a Rod Zombie 350Z) can also be unlocked as bonus cars.

In Underground 2 you get to drive Rachel's iconic green 350Z for up to 3 races at the start of the career.

In Carbon there is a 350Z bonus car and your crew member Neville can drive a 350Z as well.

Undercover is the first game with a 370Z and you get to drive one in the opening police chase of the career mode.

Shift and Shift 2 have both the 350Z and the 370Z available. In World you can get both cars with various liveries and also a 370Z Roadster, which returns in Hot Pursuit 3.

The Run has various versions of the 370Z and two of them are driven by the minor story characters Nikka and Mila.

Most Wanted 2 has the 350Z with various liveries as part of the Heroes DLC pack. Payback has the 350Z and also released it as a special abandoned car with Rachel's iconic livery from Underground 2.

Hopefully people will enjoy all the various runs and story pieces that I recorded in these different games.

Note that this is meant to be a positive video celebrating an awesome car that was included in a large number of NFS games. If you want to hate on certain games or complain about the car not being included in some, then do it elsewhere.
