Yadagirigutta is a hillock where Lord Narasimha Swamy manifested inside the rock. This Lord is one of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu who has come to the earth, to kill the Demon Hiranyakashyap, father of Prahlada.
The temple is dedicated to the god Narsimha swamy,an avatar of Vishnu.
Yadagirigutta is at a distance of 6 KM from Riagir Railway station and at a distance of 13 KM from Bhongir Town and 60 kilometers from the city of Hyderabad.
