Beowulf the Musical presents two medieval tales intertwined; on one side the legendary hero and on the other a silent princess, pulled together by fate and torn apart by duty. As inexorable destiny ebbs and flows, what paths will our characters carve for themselves?

The musical sets out to explore the inner lives of the characters from the famous story, retelling it from a fresh new angle and providing a voice for the characters who have historically been silent. As well as bringing the stories of the female characters up to equal footing, Beowulf the Musical also dives into the dreams, ambitions, loves, fears and anxieties of the legendary hero Beowulf to reveal the man behind the image. The plot has everything; tragedy, comedy, star-crossed lovers, betrayal, friendship and big dreams, all presented by an omniscient narrator who in the end finds out that their grip on the story may not be as secure as they once thought.
