From the 9th-10th of February we spent the night filming various KiwiRail freight trains traveling across the central part of the North Island Main Trunk (NIMT) at National Park Station (Pretty much the halfway point between Palmerston North and Hamilton).
(I'll admit the video title is a bit click-bait as the second half of the video is chasing Train 390 from National Park to Te Kuiti but for the most part it is trains at National Park).
I don't have much else to say other than the next video will be one filmed in 2022.
