Описание к видео GREENSLEEVES - A 16th Century Ballad - full song

A simple bardcore cover of this renaissance folk song for medieval tavern ambiance

More Bardcore Music 👉    • Misanthrop | Blod Besvimelse | Bardcore Co...

All verses, one take, fully memorized and with no added instruments! This one should feel like you are listening to a single bard sing in a tavern, rather than a full complex song like I usually post. In a world where AI is becoming more and more prominent, I wanted to provide a very human alternative. This video has mistakes. It's a bit messy. And although I have more polished music on the way, I would like to start mixing in simple folk tunes to help ground us all.

I tried to busk the other day and realized I don't have any songs memorized, which has sparked my adventure into the world of ye olde ballads. I would like to continue to memorize old folk songs and perform them on this channel. This one was rather rushed to get it out on February 1st (when I am ending my upload break) but still a classic. I hope you enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: I'm not trying to copy Henry Bard, but he is most certainly the inspiration for this video. I've been listening to his tunes on loop all week and just had to make one similar. I liked his simple style of one instrument and one voice, which is what I'm imitating. In a world where too much art is being stolen by AI, I want to be crystal clear that I have no intention of stealing content. I tried to make this version distinct by singing all the verses, doing it all in one live take, and adding a foot tambourine, even aside from the fact I'm playing an entirely different (and modern) instrument.

Huge shout out to Henry Bard. Literally my new favorite bard, and a huge inspiration for getting me into more traditional songs.
