우리의 민요를 서행복(Seo Haeng-bok)강사와 함께 배워보는 코너입니다. 이번 회는 함경도민요(Hamgyeongdo Minyo) '신고산타령(Singosantaryeong)'을 배우는 두 번째 시간입니다.

'신고산타령(Singosantaryeong)'은 '함경도민요(Hamgyeongdo Minyo)'의 대표적인 노래로 '메나리조(Menarijo)' '동부민요(Gyeonggi Minyo)'의 음악적 특징이 잘 나타나는 곡입니다. 가사가 '신고산(Singosan)'으로 시작되어 '신고산타령(Singosantaryeong)'이라고 하며 후렴이 '어랑 어랑(Eolang eolang)'으로 시작되어 '어랑타령(Eolangtaryeong)'이라고도 한다.

함경도의 '고산(Gosan)'이라는 마을에 새로 경원선 역이 생기면서 '신고산(Singosan)'이라 하였고 옛 마을을 '구고산(Gugosan)'으로 부르게 되었다.

'신고산타령(Singosantaryeong)'은 '강원도민요(Gangwondo Minyo)'와 같이 '미, 솔, 라, 도, 레'의 메나리조(Menarijo) 5음 음계로 되어있고 '라, 솔, 미'나 '레, 도, 라'의 하행선율이 많아 애절한 느낌을 준다. '신고산타령(Singosantaryeong)'의 장단(Jangdan)은 '볶는 타령(Bongneun taryeong)', 또는 '자진 타령(Jajintaryeong)'으로 되어 있고(물허벅장단이라고도 하는데 물허벅장단은 제주도민요에서 유래한 것이다), 곡의 빠르기는 자진모리와 굿거리의 중간 정도이고, 느린 '자진모리(Jajinmorijangdan)'나 자진 '굿거리장단(Gutgeorijangdan)'으로 반주하기도 한다.

곡의 내용은 개화기 신문명의 새로운 물결에 들뜬 시골처녀의 마음을 그리고 있는데 애절하면서도 구성지고 흥겨운 느낌을 준다.

신고산타령(Singosantaryeong) 가사

후렴 : 어랑 어랑 어허야 어야 더야 내사랑아
1. 신고산이 우루루 함흥차가는 소리에 구고산 큰애기 밤봇짐만 싼다
2. 공산야월 두견이는 피나게 슬피 울고 강심에 어린 달빛 쓸쓸히 비쳐 있네
3. 가을바람 소슬하니 낙엽이 우수수 지고요 귀뚜라미 슬피 울어 남은 간장을 다썩이네
4. 구부러진 노송남근 바람에 건들거리고 허공중천 뜬달은 사해를 비쳐주노라
5. 휘늘어진 낙락장송 휘어덤석 잡고요 애닯은 이내진정 하소연이나 할까나
6. 삼수갑산 머루다래는 얼크러설크러 졌는데 나는 언제 님을만나 얼크러설크러 지느냐

This is the corner where you can learn our folk songs with a teacher named Seo Haeng-bok. This episode is the first time to learn Hamgyungdo Minyo and Singosantialeong.

Singosantialeong is a representative song of Hamgyongdo Minyo, and the musical features of Menarijo and Gyeonggi Minyo are well represented. The lyrics started with "Singosan," called "Singosantaryeong," and the chorus "Eolang eolang," also known as "Eolangtaryeong."

The new Gyeongwon Line station in Gosan, Hamkyong Province, was called Singosan, and the old village was called Gugosan.

"Singosantaryeong" is a five-syllable version of "Menarijo" in "Mi, Sol, La, Do and Le," like "Gangwondo Minyo," and has a sad feeling of going down the line of "La, Sol, Mi" or "Le, Do, La." "Jangdan" in "Singosantaryeong" consists of "Bongneun taryeong," or "Jajintaryeong," or "Jajindaryeong," or "Jajindaryeong," a song originated from Jeju folk song, and the traditional Korean traditional folk song "Singosantaryeong," is about to be a short, slow, slow-tempered piece.

The song depicts the heart of a country maid who is excited by the new wave of the newspaper's name in the opening season, giving a sad, composed and exciting feeling.
