Glock 43X (And All Other Glocks) Cleaning Tutorial

Описание к видео Glock 43X (And All Other Glocks) Cleaning Tutorial

In this video, we will perform a field strip and cleaning of the Glock 43X. We will also utilize a bore snake to clean the barrel in addition to cleaning it the regular way. This video can be used to clean all other Glocks as well.

Bore Snake and Rip Cord Differences: If you compare a standard bore snake to the “Ripcord” you'll note that the latter looks and feels more like a bungee cord. Whereas the bore snake is made of a flaccid, droopy material, the Ripcord has a rubberized core which forces the Nomex cleaning fibers to rub against the bore. It's anything but flaccid. https://www.hawaiireporter.com/on-tar...

Bore Snake: an alternative gun care tool to a cleaning rod. A bore snake is a flexible fabric cord with a tapered thin end that has a weight attached to it, in order to help the initial feeding of the cord through the breech end of the barrel. When the thin end has been fed throughout the other end, the rest of the cord is then dragged towards the muzzle, scrubbing the bore along the way. A bore snake often has one or more integrated brushes to help clear away more stubborn contaminants, and may also be used to apply lubricants. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleanin...

RipCord: Ripcord® delivers the best one-pass cleaning you can get for your firearm. Run it through your gun from Breech-to-Muzzle®, with no gravity feed necessary. The rigid, helix-shaped rubber core keeps the cleaning surface pressed against the bore, engaging the rifling for an aggressive clean. The braided Nomex® surface can take up to 700° heat, so you can clean it at the range or in the field while the barrel’s still hot. Attach a bore brush to get an even more thorough clean. It’s fast, effective and ultra-portable. https://otistec.com/ripcord
