2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Radiator Replacement and some tips.

Important. First off, never open a radiator cap when the engine is heated up. You WILL get 3rd degree burns and horribly scalded.
Recheck the coolant level in the recovery tank the next day when everything cools down.
I learned some tips as I went on with the job and share them with everyone.
I started by removing the hood latch mechanism and decided to start a video. I figured out some tips that are in the video. then the neighbor came over, and we started joking around. Got the radiator in and it works good. PS. Just wanted to mention that it's ok to reuse the old spring type hose clamps. I just used new screw drive clamps. I used a spectra radiator, made in Canada. Gates hoses made in USA. The Gates thermostat was made in China and I had a small problem installing it as you will also find out. It's recommended to replace the thermostat and radiator pressure cap, when installing a new radiator. I ended up reusing most of the old radiator clips. the new clips provided with the radiator didn't hold any tension of the screws. Make sure you use the correct coolant. Check your owners manual to make sure of what is in your system.
